One day a fisherman went fishing. He went through the forest near the river.
After arriving there, he threw a net to the river. And then he sat near it to wait to hook the fish. He caught a lot of beautiful fish.
Then he went to the town market to sell fish for the survival of his family.
After selling fish, he went back to his home with lots of money that he got by selling the fish.
His wife Anamika also went to the forest to collect wood to prepare food.
The fisherman helped her wife to make the food. And then they ate together.
The next morning, he again went to the river and spread his net at the same place where he caught lots of fish yesterday. He again caught lots of fish and went to the market to sell them. And again earned a lot of money.
He came back home and ate food with his wife. The situation remained the same for some days but one day when he again went fishing. He only got one fish in his net.
Suddenly, the fish told the fisherman to leave her. She requested a lot but the fisherman ignored it.
But after requesting so many times, the fisherman did not agree to let the fish go. Suddenly the fish came up with an idea. She said that if you leave me today, I'll bring all my friends here tomorrow and then you'll be able to catch lots of fish.
The man became greedy and agreed to release the fish in the water.
The fish gets released from the fisherman and promises herself that she will never go to that side of the river where that fisherman comes.
She cleverly saves her life and goes back to another part of the river.
On the other hand, the fisherman went back home thinking that he will get lots of fish tomorrow and will earn a lot of money by selling those fish. He also decided to buy some clothes for his wife.
His wife asked the fisherman why he came so early?
He said that he was only able to catch one fish but also left that fish because she promised to bring her friends as well tomorrow so that I can catch a lot of fish.
His wife became happy and asked, ``Can you buy a new saree for me after selling those fishes.
The man said yes.
And they went to bed to sleep.
The next day, the farmer goes to the river for fishing. But he did not catch any fish because he was greedy.
Moral: The more greedy you are, the less you will get.
